No offer of securities or advice
Nothing on this website is an offer or solicitation to buy or sell securities, or investment, legal or tax advice. Plant acquisitions are private, bilateral transactions between a seller and an eligible investor, subject to the laws of India and of the investor's country.
Our role
- India Solar helps investors find, check and buy operating solar plant companies in India, and afterwards introduces local firms or manages them for the owner.
- India Solar is not registered with SEBI or any other financial regulator as an investment adviser, broker or fund manager.
- We do not pool investor money, hold client funds or run a fund.
- You decide whether to buy a plant, and you should take your own legal, tax and technical advice.
How we are paid
We charge a fixed fee, agreed in writing before we start, payable when a purchase completes. If you choose our management service after a purchase, it is a separate fixed fee. Clients may contract with us through our Indian, European Union or United Arab Emirates entity.
Figures and sources
Return figures marked illustrative are model estimates based on the assumptions stated next to them. They are not forecasts or promises. Our guides show the date they were last updated and link to their sources.
Risks
Owning a solar plant carries risks, including late payment by the buyer of power, lower generation than expected, damage or theft, regulatory change, attempts to renegotiate tariffs, and movements in the rupee against your currency. You can lose money.
